NO! We don't need regulation of free speech in any form, including talk radio, speech codes, and civil disobediance! We've already lost too many rights; we need to be fighting to get them back, not colluding with either party or government to take away more! And to think I once respected your commentary :(

....."I've already started and the garden is looking good to."
Being a Master Gardener and donating time at the Univ. Extension Office in that field, I've noticed a number of differences here:
* 3-5X as many gardens have sprung up throughout the valley.
* Most of the increases (80-90%) are being tended by the retired and Latinos (in that order).
* Many more older gardens were being replanted (after being fallow for 5+ years).
* Many more larger gardens tended to (1+ acres).
Over the past year our population has decreased approximately 4% (37K to 35.5K)

Tons of gardening/food production interest in our corner of WA state. I'm getting spammed with requests from people to consult on garden planning, canning, backyard flock keeping, contract meat production, etc. I'm really glad to see the interest & hope people get into it as a lifestyle, not just a one-shot.

In any case, if wanting to avoid unpleasantness one can always plead 'grammatical gender'. For example, in Italian the world for hotel is in the masculine. It doesn't mean that only men can stay at hotels in Italy.
But what I really want to say is that when you can write great literature you can assume the right to change the language. If all you can write is tracts, better and humbler perhaps not to try.

There are some efforts here in Detroit to get some urban gardens going - but so far not too much. On the plus side there is plenty of land no-one is using. A major problem, though, is that people have forgotten how to grow things or basically to do anything to take care of themselves. What this place needs is a few boatloads of immigrants with agricultural backgrounds.

"Questions about the nature of something are impossible to answer unless you have positively determined its existence."
When one is relieved of at least some part of one's spiritual blindness, the question of gender becomes unimportant. But Christians do believe and proclaim that God as true God and true man did walk among us on Earth, and His gender then was male. As for the rest, it is wonder, adoration and praise. All is resolved and fulfilled in joy forever.
